Working closely with our collaborative partners as Head Design Lead, I utilized my skill, experience, versatility and adaptability as the liaison successfully bringing them to life while maintaining both the integrity of the Gap brand and each collaborator's vision and expectation.
For GapKids + ED, I conceptualized the initial ideas that became the launch pad for the design team to further develop the collection.
Stella McCartney partners with Gap in a first ever GapKids and BabyGap collaboration.
The launch collection for Autumn/Holiday 2009 was a collection of ready to wear, accessories and sleepwear across 3 age ranges, Baby, Toddler and Kids. Style count was 100.
I worked closely with Stella and her team to maintain the integrity of her vision and bring the collection to life.
Working with our internal team and external vendors, we sourced sophisticated fabrics and yarn qualities, trims and materials. We developed 3 age range fits for both genders and were able to work with our in-house sewing facility on the more complex details and styles.

(MALIN+GOETZ) is a sensitive skin care brand.
Launched in 2004, by founders and owners Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz an original apothecary in NYC’s Chelsea neighborhood , focusing on the needs of women and men with sensitive skin.
Along with skin care, they offer perfumes and candles, highlighting that they do not use synthetic fragrances and offer sensory experiences and luxurious gift-giving options.
For Holiday 2014, Gap partnered with (Malin + Goetz) on an exclusive gift giving candle as part of the Gap Holiday Crazy Stripe Campaign.
Working closely with (Malin + Goetz), we designed an iconic and distinct candle that would resonate with the Gap customer. Maintaining the integrity of the (Malin + Goetz) aesthetic was integral to the project from the exclusive scent of the candle, design and size of the glass container to the final packaging artwork.

In 2014, Gap and Visionaire partnered again after 11 years on a limited edition range of collectible artist t-shirts inspired by past and present issues. In celebration of Gap’s 45th anniversary, 45 t-shirts were released throughout the year. Designed specifically for the Gap + Visionaire collaboration, a unisex t-shirt and sweatshirt were developed and Made in America for this range.
A small, "sneak preview" collection of 5 t-shirts appropriately named the ‘Miami 5’ launched at Art Basel in Miami Beach in December 2013. This collection, also called The Metal Collection, was based on the striking, 3-D relief images embossed on metal plates from Visionaire 63 FOREVER issue. We developed the artwork in silver foil on a contrast black t-shirt.
Continuing the joint celebration of art and fashion, Gap + Visionaire launched the second installment of eleven collectible, limited edition t-shirts in May with the The Solar Collection. The series was dedicated to color using UV-sensitive inks, embroidery, foils, screen- printing and full-coverage photographic printing. Seven t-shirts used special UV-sensitive ink originally developed and published in Visionaire 56 SOLAR issue. We sourced and developed a special UV-sensitive ink and embroidery threads that could actually be printed and embroidered on the t-shirts emulating what had been developed and published in the 56 SOLAR issue. As soon as the t-shirts are exposed to sunlight, the black and white images burst into color!

GapKids X ED, is a collaboration with Ellen DeGeneres' new lifestyle brand, created to empower girls everywhere.
The concept for this collaboration and collection was to give kids a blank canvas through Gap products, empowering both girls (and boys) to feel confident in their self expression, both having an equal voice.
Drawing on the speech bubble as the iconic graphic for this collection our goal was to design product that gave kids the ability to express themselves through embellishment and customization. Black coated canvas in the accessories and an allover print consisting of familiar icons were the tools that allowed for this self expression.
These were the fundamentals and launch pad for the design team to use to further develop the Gap + ED collection.
