My name is Olga Joan and I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland to Catalan parents. 

I moved to New York barely out of my teens, and soon realised that this was the place I wanted to live. With that said, a couple of years later I moved to San Francisco to attend The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising to study Fashion Design.  I then settled in San Francisco for 14 years before finally making it back to New York via Columbus, Ohio.

I currently live and have a studio in the mid Hudson Valley upstate, New York.

With over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, I have become a dynamic, versatile and adaptable creative leader. My passion, commitment and integrity allow me to take on any creative project and bring it to life.  As a mentor and leader, I inspire collaboration through teamwork.

I guide design teams to develop big picture ideas delivering creative, strategic, market relevant, seasonal concepts and products that resonate with the customer and generate profit.  

Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to design for corporate iconic brands Levi's, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Gap Inc and also for smaller more independent brands, giving me a breadth of experiences and levels of responsibility which I have happily shared with my teams and work colleagues. Most recently, I led and curated art and design based collaborations at Gap for Visionaire + Gap, Frieze and the Gap White Space, thriving in the creative process and teamwork required for these successful partnerships.
